Indoor Swimming Pools - Maybe you're fantasizing of running a pool, but are pondering what you can do with it besides just swim in it. Of course, getting cooled off in the summer a few months and enjoying a good swim is the primary use and advantage of a pool. If you put your pool at the center of any activity or event, people instantly are more relaxed and have fun with each other.
Another use for your pool, if you're still thinking about going swimming in it, is to carefully turn it into a piece of exercise equipment. For weight training, have jets and yank ladders installed that will let you work against your own weight and the water's weight - which is among the finest exercises you can get. Or for endurance training, have training laps decorated on or installed with tiles. That is great for racers or those that simply want to challenge themselves every once in awhile!
One very creative idea for your pool when you're done utilizing it as a genuine pool is to carefully turn it into a pond and fill up it with your favorite seafood (koi make especially good prospects.)
