One very creative idea for your pool when you're done using it as an actual pool is to turn it into a pond and load it with your chosen seafood (koi make specifically good candidates.) Certainly, be sure you don't actually swim in it, as it will essentially be considered a living space no longer a pool, and load it up enough so that there surely is not a huge drop between the the surface of the pool and the surface of the water. You can even build a whole garden or veranda around it and make your large pond the center point of your backyard.

Don't take action with concrete. Instead, load it with earth that's appropriate for your area, and then use topsoil for the last few top tiers. Plant a lovely garden and again, make this the center point of your garden. If you're going to use this option, be certain to hire a specialist to do the real work for you. You'll need to avoid things such as the earth caving in and collapsing, and a specialist will know how to do that.
